Audensberg Toyota Case Study

Audensberg Toyota has always used the conventional form of printing its statements, folding the statement into a pre-paid envelope and submitting these documents via snail mail.

Auto-Mate distributed a newsflash called "What's New" during April 2010 highlighting the optional enhancement to email statements directly from the Auto-Mate V3X GUI version.

We had a look at our existing cost associated with the preparation and production of statements and decided this could save us money almost immediately and decided to call our Account Manager.

Auto-Mate requested our logo, our postal details and created a professional looking template that is now eliminating the requirement to print and waste natural resources.

Now, four months later, the savings as generated by this new ability to simply email statements straight from the DMS are significant.

It saves us paper, man-hours, stamps and envelopes.  Saving paper gives us a tangible way to measure our

contribution to reducing our carbon footprint.   But more importantly, this functionality enables us to align us with some of our Customers which require statements via email.

Our debtors’ days have decreased because it's easier to reconcile invoices timeously.

We are looking forward to the second phase of Auto-Mate's roll-out of this functionality which will enable the emailing of parts invoices.
